"De Laatste Gravin" is geïnspireerd op het kasteel in mijn geboortedorp. Met de kleuterschool mochten we op bezoek. Ik vond het overweldigend mooi! Het gebouw, de torens, het gazon en de pauwen. En de gravin kwam ons een ijsje brengen. Ze is overleden in 1989. Het kasteel is thans niet meer wat het was...

"De Laatste Gravin" (The Last Duchess) is inspired by the castle in my hometown. I saw it for the first time when we - all children from the Kindergarten - payed a visit to the castle. I was overwhelmed by its beauty. The building, the towers, the lawn and the peacocks. And the duchess brought us ice cream. She passed away in 1989. The castle is no longer what it used to be...

"La Dernière Comtesse" est inspiré par le château dans mon village natal. Nous avons été autorisés à visiter avec la maternelle. J’avais 5 ans et je pensais que c’était extrêmement beau!
