Op TV zag ik hoe jonge Russen in verafgelegen dorpen werden gerecruteerd om te gaan vechten in Oekraïne. Propaganda en weinig perspectief maakten dat ze (toen nog vrijwillig) tekenden. Grote kans dat ze niet meer terugkomen. Ik heb met ze te doen hoewel die oorlog natuurlijk helemaal fout is.

In remote villages the Russian army recruited young men. Propaganda and lack of perspective made them sign (at the time voluntarily) to be sent to war in Ukraine. Strong chance they will not return. I felt sorry for them although the war is absolutely wrong.
